Journal ArticleDOI
Mineral dust and NOx promote the conversion of SO2 to sulfate in heavy pollution days
Hong He,Yuesi Wang,Qingxin Ma,Jinzhu Ma,Biwu Chu,Dongsheng Ji,Guiqian Tang,Chang Liu,Hongxing Zhang,Jiming Hao +9 more
TL;DR: A new mechanism of haze formation is reported, in which coexistence with NOx can reduce the environmental capacity for SO2, leading to rapid conversion of SO2 to sulfate because NO2 and SO2 have a synergistic effect when they react on the surface of mineral dust.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced photocatalytic oxidation of NO over g-C3N4-TiO2 under UV and visible light
Jinzhu Ma,Caixia Wang,Hong He +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, graphitic carbon nitride-titanium dioxide (g-C3N4-TiO2) was successfully prepared by a facile calcination route utilizing commercial P25 and melamine as the precursors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transition metal doped cryptomelane-type manganese oxide catalysts for ozone decomposition
Jinzhu Ma,Caixia Wang,Hong He +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, transition metal (Cerium, Cobalt, and Iron) doped cryptomelane-type manganese oxide (M-OMS-2) catalysts have been successfully synthesized and characterized.
Journal ArticleDOI
Oxygen Vacancies Induced by Transition Metal Doping in γ-MnO2 for Highly Efficient Ozone Decomposition.
TL;DR: It is confirmed that Ce-γ-MnO2 exhibited more surface oxygen vacancies and surface defects, which play a key role during the decomposition of ozone, indicating that it is a promising material for ozone decomposition.
Journal ArticleDOI
High temperature reduction dramatically promotes Pd/TiO2 catalyst for ambient formaldehyde oxidation
TL;DR: In this paper, a Pd/TiO 2 -450R catalyst was used for HCHO conversion at a GHSV of 95000h −1 and 140ppm inlet HCHO.
