Monolithic perovskite/silicon tandem solar cell with >29% efficiency by enhanced hole extraction
Amran Al-Ashouri,Eike Köhnen,Bor Li,Artiom Magomedov,Hannes Hempel,Pietro Caprioglio,Pietro Caprioglio,José A. Márquez,Anna Belen Morales Vilches,Ernestas Kasparavicius,Joel A. Smith,Joel A. Smith,Nga Phung,Dorothee Menzel,Max Grischek,Max Grischek,Lukas Kegelmann,Dieter Skroblin,Christian Gollwitzer,Tadas Malinauskas,Marko Jošt,Marko Jošt,Gašper Matič,Bernd Rech,Bernd Rech,Rutger Schlatmann,Rutger Schlatmann,Marko Topič,Lars Korte,Antonio Abate,Bernd Stannowski,Bernd Stannowski,Dieter Neher,Martin Stolterfoht,Thomas Unold,Vytautas Getautis,Steve Albrecht,Steve Albrecht +37 more
TL;DR: A monolithic perovskite/silicon tandem with a certified power conversion efficiency of 29.15% is reported, made possible by a self-assembled, methyl-substituted carbazole monolayer as the hole-selective layer in the perovSKite cell.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ion Migration-Induced Amorphization and Phase Segregation as a Degradation Mechanism in Planar Perovskite Solar Cells
Diego Di Girolamo,Diego Di Girolamo,Nga Phung,Felix Utama Kosasih,Francesco Di Giacomo,Fabio Matteocci,Joel A. Smith,Marion Flatken,Hans Köbler,Silver Hamill Turren Cruz,Alessandro Mattoni,Lucio Cinà,Bernd Rech,Bernd Rech,Alessandro Latini,Giorgio Divitini,Caterina Ducati,Aldo Di Carlo,Aldo Di Carlo,Danilo Dini,Antonio Abate,Antonio Abate +21 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Fully Spray-Coated Triple-Cation Perovskite Solar Cells
TL;DR: This work demonstrates the possibility for spray-coating to fabricate high efficiency and low-cost perovskite solar cells at speed and shows that the use of spray-deposition permits us to rapidly coat small-area substrates.
Journal ArticleDOI
Origin of Sn(II) oxidation in tin halide perovskites
Jorge Pascual,Giuseppe Nasti,Mahmoud H. Aldamasy,Mahmoud H. Aldamasy,Joel A. Smith,Marion Flatken,Nga Phung,Diego Di Girolamo,Silver-Hamill Turren-Cruz,Meng Li,Meng Li,André Dallmann,Roberto Avolio,Antonio Abate,Antonio Abate +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the origins of Sn(IV) in Sn-based perovskites were identified and described using NMR in solid-state and solution, mainly focusing on direct measurements of Sn oxidation states with 119Sn-NMR.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of Spray-Coated Perovskite Solar Cells.
TL;DR: A spotlight on applications outlines the key benefits of spray coating technology and summarizes progress made to date, with attention focused on varied efforts to control the crystallization and uniformity of the perovskite layer.
