Catalytic activity and selectivity of boron phosphate in the decomposition of ethyl alcohol vapor

TL;DR: In this paper, the decomposition of ethanol over boron phosphate has been studied from 255 to 370 °C and the percent conversion to ethylene is a continuously increasing function of temperature while that to ether passes through a maximum at approximately 300 °C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formation of radical oxygen species on hydroxyapatite

TL;DR: In this article, the formation of O−2 suggests presence of O2− of low coordination in the stoichiometric form of apatite in the form of hydroxyapatite.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ring-expansion of methylcyclopentane to cyclohexane and ring-contraction of cyclohexane to methylcyclopentane on silica-supported 12-tungstophosphoric acid and stoichiometric and nonstoichiometric microporous silver 12-tungstophosphate

TL;DR: In this article, cyclohexane is ring-expanded to methylcyclopentane on 12-tungstophosphoric acid (HPW) supported on silica and on stoichiometric microporous silver 12-Tungstiphosphate.
Book ChapterDOI

Heteropoly Compounds: Solid Acids With Guarded Protons

TL;DR: In this paper, an ionic solids with protons distributed throughout their structure are often found with hydrogen-bonded water which may block access to incoming sorbates.
