TL;DR: People with average TC and LDL-C levels and below-average HDL-C may obtain significant clinical benefit from primary-prevention lipid modification, and on-treatment apoB, especially when combined with apoAI to form the apOB/AI ratio, may be a more accurate predictor than LDL- C of risk for first AMCE.

Lifetime‐citation rates: A mathematical model to compare scientists' work
TL;DR: Under reasonable assumptions a formula is derived to project the number of citations the usual type of scientific research paper will receive, based on the paper's past citations and the regularity of citation patterns, which is applied to the publications of members of a university department and validated in two ways.
