TL;DR: Obesity was associated with shorter longevity and significantly increased risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality compared with normal BMI, and overweight wasassociated with significantly increasedrisk of developing CVD at an earlier age, resulting in a greater proportion of life lived with CVD morbidity.

TL;DR: Blood pressure trajectories throughout young adulthood vary, and higher BP trajectories were associated with an increased risk of CAC in middle age, and longer-term trajectories in BP may assist in more accurate identification of individuals with subclinical atherosclerosis.
