Journal ArticleDOI

Reduced chemistries with the Quantemol database (QDB)

TL;DR: In this paper, reduced chemistry sets are presented for CF4/O2/N2/H2, for which 396 reactions and 52 species are reduced to 71 reactions and 26 species.
Journal ArticleDOI

ExoMol photodissociation cross sections I: HCl and HF

TL;DR: In this paper , temperature-dependent photodissociation cross sections for hydrogen chloride and hydrogen fluoride were computed for a grid of 34 temperatures between 0 and 10,000 K. The results showed that for the Sun and cooler stars, the photodicociation rate can increase exponentially for molecular temperatures above 1000 K; conversely, these rates in UV rich fields instead are almost insensitive to the temperature of the molecule.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electron scattering studies of BF and BF 2

TL;DR: In this article, the authors calculated elastic, differential, momentum transfer and excitation cross section for electron scattering from BF and BF 2 radicals using the ab initio R-matrix method.
