The spectrum of ammonia near 0.793 μ m
N. F. Zobov,Thibault Bertin,J. Vander Auwera,Svatopluk Civiš,Antonín Knížek,Martin Ferus,Roman I. Ovsyannikov,Vladimir Yu. Makhnev,Jonathan Tennyson,Oleg L. Polyansky,Oleg L. Polyansky +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, two sets of NH 3 absorption spectra covering the 0.793 µm region were recorded using two Bruker IFS 125 HR Fourier transform spectrometers using two different interference filters covering the 12000 − 12500 and 12400 − 13000 cm − 1 ranges.
Twinkle - a Low-Earth orbit visible and infrared exoplanet spectroscopy observatory
TL;DR: Twinkle as discussed by the authors is a small satellite with a payload designed to perform high-quality astrophysical observations while adapting to the design of an existing Low Earth Orbit commercial satellite platform, which will allow the photometric and spectroscopic observation of a wide range of planetary classes around different types of stars, with a focus on bright sources close to the ecliptic.
Journal ArticleDOI
The construction and fitting of molecular potential energy surfaces and their use in vibration‐rotation calculations
TL;DR: In this article, the state-of-the-art in non-empirical calculations of potential energy surfaces for small molecules is discussed, as is the present position with respect to the analytic fitting of such surfaces.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Room temperature line lists for CO2 isotopologues with AB initio computed intensities

Journal ArticleDOI
John Norman Murrell. 2 March 1932 — 25 January 2016
TL;DR: John Murrell was a theoretical chemist who made important contributions to the understanding of the spectra of organic molecules, to the theory of intermolecular forces and to the construction of potential energy surfaces.
