Electronic excitation in electron molecule scattering using the R‐matrix method
TL;DR: Recent progress made by the UK R‐matrix collaboration is reviewed, with particular attention paid to electronic excitation calculations with have increased significantly in their scope and sophistication.
Book ChapterDOI
Molecular Spectroscopy for Exoplanets
TL;DR: In this article, the basic spectroscopy of atoms and molecules with a particular emphasis on the molecules that likely to form in exoplanetary atmospheres is discussed, and the importance of treating the temperature dependence of the spectrum and the huge growth in the number of lines which play a role at higher temperatures, such as those deduced for hot Jupiter exoplanets, is emphasized.

TL;DR: In this paper, a calculated infrared vibration-rotation spectrum of isotopically modified water, H215O, is presented, and a spectral feature is tentatively assigned to the 752 (0 1 0) - 643 (0 0 0) line of H 215O.
