A highly efficient Doherty feedforward linear power amplifier for W-CDMA base-station applications
TL;DR: In this paper, a high-power Doherty amplifier using a single push-pull LDMOS field effect transistor is proposed as the main amplifier of a feed-forward linear amplifier for wideband code-division multiple access (W-CDMA) base-station applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
Measurement of grain moisture content using microwave attenuation at 10.5 GHz and moisture density
TL;DR: The dielectric properties of Korean short-grain rough rice, brown rice and barley with moisture content ranges of 11 to 27%, 11% to 18%, and 11 to 21%, wet basis, were characterized to develop a prototype grain moisture meter using microwave attenuation at 10.5 GHz and moisture density.
Journal ArticleDOI
Linearity optimization of a high power Doherty amplifier based on post-distortion compensation
TL;DR: In this article, the linearity of a 30-W high-power Doherty amplifier is optimized using post-distortion compensation, achieving -43 dBc adjacent channel leakage ratio (ACLR) at a /spl plusmn/5 MHz offset frequency.

Method and system for baseband predistortion linearization in multi-channel wideband communication systems
TL;DR: An efficient baseband predistortion linearization method for reducing the spectral regrowth and compensating memory effects in wideband communication systems using effective multiple-xing modulation technique such as wideband code division multiple access and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing is disclosed in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Piecewise Pre-Equalized Linearization of the Wireless Transmitter With a Doherty Amplifier
TL;DR: In this article, a predistortion linearizer consisting of piecewise pre-equalizers along with a look-up-table-based digital PD was proposed for multichannel wideband applications.
