TL;DR: Exposure of spermatozoa and inseminated oocytes to caffeine led to an increase of sperm chromosome aberrations, indicating that the damage to human sperm can be repaired in untreated hamster egg cytoplasm and the formation of chromosomal rearrangements is also inhibited.
