Platinum clusters deposited on maghemite applied to preferential oxidation of CO under hydrogen rich conditions (PROX-CO)
TL;DR: In this paper, Chini's carbonyl oligomers were used as a precursor to obtain Pt nanoparticles anchored on maghemite, γ-Fe2O3 The Pt-NP diameter were in the range of 15nm and the catalysts were active in preferential oxidation of CO under H2 rich atmosphere (PROX-CO reaction), without pretreatments.
Journal ArticleDOI
Catalytic assessment of nanostructured Pt/xLa2O3-Al2O3 oxides for hydrogen production by dry reforming of methane: Effects of the lanthana content on the catalytic activity
Jesuína Cássia Santiago de Araújo,Andre Luis G. Pinheiro,Alcineia C. Oliveira,Marcia G.A. Cruz,José Maria C. Bueno,Rinaldo dos Santos Araújo,Rossano Lang +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of the lanthana content on the textural and structural properties of nanostructured Pt/xLa2O3-Al 2O3 were studied.
Book ChapterDOI
Promoter effect of Ag and La on stability of NI/AL2o3 catalysts in reforming of methane processes
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of Ag and La on the stability of Ni/Al 2 O 3 catalysts in the steam reforming of methane (SRM), autothermal (ATRM) and partial oxidation of POM.
Journal ArticleDOI
Probing the stability of Pt nanoparticles encapsulated in sol–gel Al2O3 using in situ and ex situ characterization techniques
R.U. Ribeiro,Debora M. Meira,Cristiane B. Rodella,Daniela C. de Oliveira,José Maria C. Bueno,Daniela Zanchet +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the stability of Pt-NPs encapsulated in alumina was investigated and it was shown that a high polyvinyl-2-pyrrolidone (PVP/Pt) ratio was required to encapsulate and stabilize the particles in the γ-Al 2 O 3 support.
Book ChapterDOI
Influence of the surface structure of Co on the selective hydrogenation of crotonaldehyde
E.L. Rodrigues,Christianne Elisabete da Costa Rodrigues,Alberto J. Marchi,Carlos Rodolfo Apesteguia,José Maria C. Bueno +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of Co/SiO 2 catalysts prepared by impregnation, using water and ethanol as solvents, were tested in hydrogenation of crotonaldehyde in gas phase.
