Alumina-supported Ni catalysts modified with silver for the steam reforming of methane: Effect of Ag on the control of coke formation

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of Ag loading on the physicochemical properties and catalytic behavior of Ni/Al2O3-supported catalysts on steam reforming of methane was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of ceria content on the properties of Pd/CeO2/Al2O3 catalysts for steam reforming of methane

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of CeO 2 loading on the surface properties and catalytic behaviors of Pd catalysts was studied in the process of steam reforming of methane, and the results showed that the increase of specific reaction rate with enhancing the ceria loading suggests that net effect results in an increase of the accessibility of CH 4 to metal active sites.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of ceria content on the performance of Pt/CeO2/Al2O3 catalysts in the partial oxidation of methane

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of CeO2 loading on the properties and catalytic behaviors of C2-Al2O3-supported Pt catalysts on the partial oxidation of methane was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface Behavior of Alumina-Supported Pt Catalysts Modified with Cerium as Revealed by X-ray Diffraction, X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy of CO Adsorption

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of the carrier and pretreatment temperature on the oxidation state of Ce and Pt were evaluated in Pt/Al2O3, Pt/CeO2, and Pt/ceO 2−Al 2O3 catalyst samples with various CeO2 loadings.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Cu content on the surface and catalytic properties of Cu/ZrO2 catalyst for ethanol dehydrogenation

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of Cu content on the structure, surface and catalytic properties of ZrO2-supported Cu catalysts in the reaction of ethanol conversion was studied and the physicochemical characterization of the calcined and reduced samples was carried out by: N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms, N2O titration, XRD, XPS, TPR and DRFTS of CO adaption.
