Journal ArticleDOI

On the correlation of experimental viscosity data

TL;DR: In this article, the authors give empirical correlations for low-density viscosity with temperature and visco-coverage excess with density, for carbon dioxide and nitrogen, and show that the correlation breaks down around the critical point, but otherwise includes the whole range from liquid to gaseous.
Journal ArticleDOI

On the error function of a complex argument

TL;DR: In this paper, the Fehlerfunktion with komplexem argument is definiert in Gleichung (1) and the Schwingungsanteil der FunktionK(z) is ausschliesslich durch elementare Funktionen ausgedruckt.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal conductivity of three noble gases with carbon monoxide

TL;DR: In this article, the thermal conductivity of binary mixtures of helium, neon and argon with carbon monoxide at 27.5°C and in the pressure range 0.7-12 MPa was measured.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental determination of the viscosity and thermal conductivity of fluids

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss the principles which govern the measurement of viscosity in an oscillating-body instrument and briefly describe three such apparatus from the author's experience and one constructed in Trondheim by Torklep and Oye.
