Book ChapterDOI

Probing structure-function relationships of tissue-type plasminogen activator by oligonucleotide-mediated site-specific mutagenesis.

TL;DR: This chapter describes the probing structure-function relationships of tissue-type plasminogen activator by oligonucleotide-mediated site-specific mutagenesis, which provides an important counterbalance in vivo to the blood coagulation cascade.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isolation of Poly(A)+ Messenger RNA Using Magnetic Oligo(dT) Beads.

Michael R. Green, +1 more
- 01 Oct 2019 -
TL;DR: This is a general protocol for the isolation of mRNA from total RNA using oligo(dT) coupled to magnetic beads, and a low-salt buffer is used to destabilize the poly(A)-oligo( dT) complexes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complementing mutant alleles define three loci involved in mannosylation of Man5-GlcNAc2-P-P-dolichol in Chinese hamster ovary cells

TL;DR: Seven independent mutant cell lines with various biochemical phenotypes are examined and it is demonstrated that all can be assigned to one of three genetic complementation groups and appear to affect the functional orientation of enzyme substrates (PIR).
