Journal ArticleDOI

Facile Coating of Urea With Low-Dose ZnO Nanoparticles Promotes Wheat Performance and Enhances Zn Uptake Under Drought Stress.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that coating urea with ZnO-NPs enhances plant performance and Zn accumulation, thus potentiating field-scale deployment of nano-scale micronutrients and highlighting a key benefit of nanofertilizers: a reduction of nutrient inputs into agriculture without yield penalities
Journal ArticleDOI

Interactive effects of drought, organic fertilizer, and zinc oxide nanoscale and bulk particles on wheat performance and grain nutrient accumulation.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that drought-induced effects in food crops can be partially or wholly alleviated by ZnO particles and Zn-rich O-F, and potential mitigation strategies such as fertilization with ZN-rich organic manure andZnO can increase options for sustaining food production and quality under adverse conditions.
