Journal ArticleDOI
Electrochemical Characterization of Nitrocoumarin-modified Nanostructured Electrode Platforms: New precursors for the electrocatalysis of NADH
TL;DR: In this article , all synthesized nitrocoumarins were used to generate nanostructured multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) electrode platforms that were electrochemically activatable to generate the redox pair ArNHOH/ArNO.
Journal ArticleDOI
Systematic HPLC study of a new series of 4-methyl-1,4-dihydropyridines with antitrombotic activity
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of 4-methyl-1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives by HPLC by both photodiode array and electrochemical detectors is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
A DPP study of ranitidine permeability
TL;DR: A good correlation was established between the apparent first-order permeation rate constants and the lipophilicity of the drugs as measured by their apparent partition coefficients and a significant contribution of the ionized species to the overall permeation process was determined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Scavenging activity of C4-hydroxyphenyl- and polyhydroxyphenyl-1,4- dihydropyridines toward free radicals
Ricardo Salazar,V. Pardo-Jiménez,P.A. Navarrete-Encina,Juan A. Squella,C. Camargo,Luis J. Núñez-Vergara +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the radical scavenging ability of synthesized C4-phenolic-substituted 1,4-dihydropyridines (1,4DHPs) toward 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH•) and alkyl/alkylperoxyl ABAP-derived radicals at pH 7.4 was assessed by UV-visible spectroscopy.
