Architecture of polysaccharides with specific structures: synthesis of hyperbranched polysaccharides†
TL;DR: In this article, an oxazoline sugar monomer was employed as an AB2 type monomer for the synthesis of a hyperbranched aminopolysaccharide 2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of α(1→4)-linked non-natural mannoglucans by α-glucan phosphorylase-catalyzed enzymatic copolymerization
TL;DR: This study investigated the enzymatic copolymerization of Glc-1-P with its analogue monomer, α-d-mannose 1-phosphate (Man- 1-P) under the conditions for removal of Pi as the precipitate with ammonium and magnesium in ammonia buffer containing Mg(2+) ion to produce α(1→4)-linked non-natural mannoglucans composed of GlC/Man units.
Journal ArticleDOI
New preparation method for surface-modified inorganic layered compounds
TL;DR: In this article, a surface modified inorganic layered compounds have been prepared by the reaction of Zn(OH)2 with organic oxychlorides in which 71-98% of the OH groups reacted.
Journal ArticleDOI
α-Glucan Phosphorylase-Catalyzed Enzymatic Reactions Using Analog Substrates to Synthesize Non-Natural Oligo- and Polysaccharides
TL;DR: Non-natural oligo- and polysaccharides has precisely been synthesized by means of weak specificity for the recognition of substrates by α-Glucan phosphorylase.

Thermoplastic polysaccharide gel and method for producing the same and method for producing polysaccharide-forming material
Jun-ichi Kadokawa,Toshihiko Matsuda,Atsushi Mizusawa,Masaaki Murakami,正晃 村上,敏彦 松田,厚志 水沢,淳一 門川 +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a method for producing a thermoplastic polysaccharide gel capable of molding and processing a natural poly-charide such as cellulose or chitin was proposed.
