Journal ArticleDOI

Human adenosine A2a receptor (A2aAR) gene: systematic mutation screening in patients with schizophrenia

TL;DR: The data suggest that genetically determined structural variation of the A2aAR does not play a major role in the development of schizophrenia, and further investigation of the patient's family revealed independent segregation between the Ser-340 variant and psychiatric illness.
Journal ArticleDOI

Neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptor α4 subunit (CHRNA4) and panic disorder: An association study

TL;DR: This study does not support an association between panic disorder and the CHRNA4 gene, which has been reported to be associated with low-voltage EEG.
Journal ArticleDOI

Human adenosine A1 receptor gene: systematic screening for DNA sequence variation and linkage mapping on chromosome 1q31-32.1 using a silent polymorphism in the coding region.

TL;DR: A systematic mutation scan of the coding region of the adenosine A1 receptor gene was performed to explore its variability in the general population and detected a frequent T to G substitution at nucleotide position 716 which constitutes the first variant described in anadenosine receptor gene.
