Ni(II) and Ru(II) Schiff base complexes as catalysts for the reduction of benzene

TL;DR: The Schiff base, 3-hydroxyquinoxaline-2-carboxalidine-4-aminoantipyrine, was synthesized by the condensation of 3-hexoxyquinoxalin-2carboxaldehyde with 4amino antinopyrine as mentioned in this paper, and the third order nonlinear optical character was studied using open aperture Z-scan methodology employing 7 ns pulses at 532 nm.

Two new fluorescent heterocyclic perimidines: first syntheses, crystal structure, and spectral characterization

TL;DR: In this paper, an efficient one-pot synthesis of two new heterocyclic perimidines 4-(2,3-dihydro-1H-perimidin-2-yl)-2-methoxyphenol and 2-(quinoxalin-2,yl)- 2,3dihyldro- 1H-Perimidine in good yields is presented.
