Journal ArticleDOI

ANKE, a new facility for medium energy hadron physics at COSY-Jülich

S. Barsov, +98 more
TL;DR: ANKE as mentioned in this paper is a new experimental facility for the spectroscopy of products from proton-induced reactions on internal targets, which has recently been implemented in the accelerator ring of the cooler synchrotron COSY of the Forschungszentrum Julich (FZ-Julich), Germany.
Journal ArticleDOI

Retardation of B(E2; 01+ → 21+) rates in 90–96Sr and strong subshell closure effects in the A ~ 100 region

TL;DR: In this article, the lifetime of low-lying levels in 90, 92, 94, 96, and 96Sr were measured using a recently developed βγγ fast timing method, which provided evidence for a strong Z = 38 subshell effect extending from N = 50 to N = 58.
Journal ArticleDOI

Deformation and shape coexistence of 0+ states in 98Sr and 100Zr

TL;DR: In this paper, the β-γ-γ triple coincidence system was used to analyze the yrast bands in 98Sr and 100Zr and showed that the highly deformed bands in both 98Srs and 100Srs are nearly identical to the low-lying bands in 102Zr.
Journal ArticleDOI

Deformation in odd-mass nuclei near A ∼ 100: one- and three-quasiparticle nilsson states in 9939Y60

TL;DR: In this paper, the deexcitation of the 8.6 μs isomer of 9939Y has been studied using γ-ray spectroscopy techniques at LOHENGRIN and JOSEF.
