ANKE, a new facility for medium energy hadron physics at COSY-Jülich

S. Barsov, +98 more
TL;DR: ANKE as mentioned in this paper is a new experimental facility for the spectroscopy of products from proton-induced reactions on internal targets, which has recently been implemented in the accelerator ring of the cooler synchrotron COSY of the Forschungszentrum Julich (FZ-Julich), Germany.
Journal ArticleDOI

24 segment high field permanent sextupole magnets

TL;DR: In this paper, the design, construction, and magnetic field measurements of a system of high-field sextupole magnet made from NdFeB compounds were reported, which is used as a focusing system for neutral hydrogen (or deuterium) atoms in a polarized atomic beam source based on Stern-Gerlach spin separation.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

The Polarized Internal Gas Target of ANKE at COSY

TL;DR: In this paper, a polarized internal storage cell gas target is developed and will be implemented in the near future at COSY-Julich, where the target provides beam intensities of 7.4 ⋅ 1016 atoms/s in two hyperfine states of hydrogen.
