TL;DR: Hilbert transform was used and the R peaks are important component to differ normal beats from abnormal ones and it showed a desirable noise removal and it helps physicians in their diagnosis.
Abstract: The real-time ECG signal processing system based on mobile phones is very effective in identifying continuous ambulatory patients. It could monitor cardiovascular patients in their daily life and warns them in case of cardiac arrhythmia. An ECG signal of a patient is processed by a mobile phone with this proposed algorithm. An IIR low-pass filter is used to remove the noise and it has the 55 Hz cutoff frequency and order 3. The obtained SNR showed a desirable noise removal and it helps physicians in their diagnosis. In this paper, Hilbert transform was used and the R peaks are important component to differ normal beats from abnormal ones. The results of sensitivity and positive predictivity of algorithm are 96.97% and 95.63% respectively. If an arrhythmia occurred, 4 seconds of this signal is displayed on the mobile phone then it will be sent to a remote medical center by TCP/IP protocol.

TL;DR: Although HCPs are not a direct method of measuring quality, they are an indicator of the scientific impact of the articles, and were broadly similar in the JTT and TJEH.
Abstract: SummaryWe analysed the most highly cited articles in two specialist telemedicine journals, the Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare (JTT) and Telemedicine Journal and E-health (TJEH). Articles were...

TL;DR: A computerized clinical decision support system that was able to identify patients who were at risk of pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis, as well as produce reminders for prophylactic action for these diseases, can influence patient care quality improvement and lead to the improved performance of the medical staff in preventing the incidence.

TL;DR: The relation ship between depression and low self-esteem with body image was significant and negative and planning to improve the mental health of girls and young women from adolescence is recommended to prevent health problems in the future.
Abstract: Body image is one of the important aspects of menta l heath, which could be result to heath consequence s. Multiple factors are contributed in body image disturbances. Pregnancy due to hormonal changes and body changes disturb body image, self-esteem and also increase depressio n susceptibility. Body dissatisfaction can lead to attempts to improve the image and many of these compensatory attempts such as weight loss that are followed by ser ious consequences for the health of mothers and children . Aim: The aim of the current study is the evaluation of body satisfaction and its relationship with certain indicators of mental health such as depression, and self- este em in pregnant women. Methodology: In this cross-sectional study of 255 pregnant women referred to health centers were studied by using of standard questionnaires regarding body satisfact ion, the Beck Depression Inventory) the self- estee m Rosenberg questionnaire. Results were analyzed using SPSS-16 software. Results: The mean age of participants was 29.13 ± 6.39. Abo ut half of those reported dissatisfaction with thei r bodies. Approximately 30% of individuals with diffe rent degrees of depression were noted. The relation ship between depression and low self-esteem with body image was significant and negative. Conclusion: Planning to improve the mental health of girls and young women from adolescence is recommended to prevent health problems in the future.

TL;DR: The aim of the study was to analyse some characteristics of the 60 most cited papers published in the Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare (JTT) and TelemedICine Journal and E-health (TJEH) to obtain insights about the whole field of telemedicines.
Abstract: 1. The aim of the study was not precisely stated The aim of the study was to analyse some characteristics of the 60 most cited papers published in the Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare (JTT) and Telemedicine Journal and E-health (TJEH). This is stated in the Introduction. Arguably, it is easier for the reader if the precise details of the characteristics that were analysed are left to the Methods. 2. The study did not describe the characteristics of highly cited papers in the field since the majority of papers in the field have been published in outlets other than the JTT and TJeH We agree that JTT and TJeH are not the only journals that publish papers on telemedicine. However, neither the title nor the text imply that we were trying to analyse all highly cited papers in telemedicine – the stated intention was to analyse highly cited papers in the two specialist journals. 3. The analysis was based on a single source We agree with this. However, our method for database searching was the same as many similar studies in other domains. It is obvious that a search in Google Scholar will return more hits than a search in the Web of Knowledge because of the much broader coverage of Google Scholar, which includes books and journals of perhaps lower quality. The quality of the papers was an important matter for us and we believe that papers indexed in Web of Knowledge are of high quality. Another reason for using the Web of Knowledge was to obtain the number of citations for each paper, which is not always readily available in other databases/sources. While the SCIE is very well adapted for extracting the number of citations for each paper, it would be difficult to retrieve the other data that we needed for our study. 4. The paper provides no new insight into the field We believe our paper provides useful, albeit brief, information regarding the characteristics of the telemedicine papers in the two journals. We did not attempt to extrapolate this information to obtain insights about the whole field of telemedicine – just the subset of it that the two specialist journals represent. We agree that the discussion section of our paper could have been more comprehensive. On the other hand, covering all six aims for the analysis of highly-cited publications which were mentioned in the introduction would have made our paper a great deal longer. We tried to do our best within the space constraints imposed by the journal.
