Electronic Properities of the Single-Grained Icosahedral Phase of Al-Li-Cu

TL;DR: In this article, the low-temperature specific heat (1.5 K to 6 K), the electrical resistivity (1 K to room temperature) and the magnetoresistance at 1.4, 4.2 and 10 K have been measured for the single-grained I-phase of Al-Li-Cu with near 6:4:1 composition grown by the Bridgman method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Covalent bonds and their crucial effects on pseudogap formation in α-Al(Mn, Re)Si icosahedral quasicrystalline approximant

TL;DR: In this article, the authors obtained clear images of interatomic covalent bonds between Al and transition metals (Mn, Re) and those in the Al (or Si) icosahedron in Mackay icosahedral clusters of both α-ReSi and α-AlMnSi approximant crystals.
Journal ArticleDOI

Primary retroperitoneal mucinous cystadenoma of borderline malignancy: a case report and review of the literature.

TL;DR: The histologic diagnosis was a primary retroperitoneal mucinous cystic tumor of borderline malignancy, similar to findings for ovarian tumor, and there was no evidence of disease 6 months after the surgery.
