Band-gap tailoring of ZnO by means of heavy Al doping
Bo E. Sernelius,Bo E. Sernelius,Karl-Fredrik Berggren,Z.-C. Jin,I. Hamberg,Claes-Göran Granqvist +5 more
TL;DR: Optical band gaps, evaluated from spectrophotometric data, were widened in proportion to the Al doping, and could be quantitatively reconciled with an effective-mass model for n-doped semiconductors, provided the polar character of ZnO was accounted for.
Journal ArticleDOI
Band-gap widening in heavily Sn-doped In 2 O 3
TL;DR: In this article, the optical properties of evaporated films of doped semiconducting In2O3 in the 2-6eV range were investigated, i.e., around the fundamental bandgap.
Journal ArticleDOI
Band-gap narrowing in heavily doped many-valley semiconductors
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic depopulation of 1D subbands in a narrow 2D electron gas in a GaAs:AlGaAs heterojunction.
TL;DR: In this paper, the transverse magnetoconductance in the range 0.3 to 8 T of a narrow, variable-width channel in a GaAs:AlGaAs heterojunction was investigated.
