Deep convolutional neural networks for accurate somatic mutation detection.
Sayed Mohammad Ebrahim Sahraeian,Ruolin Liu,Bayo Lau,Karl Podesta,Marghoob Mohiyuddin,Hugo Y. K. Lam +5 more
TL;DR: NeuSomatic is presented, the first convolutional neural network approach for somatic mutation detection, which significantly outperforms previous methods on different sequencing platforms, sequencing strategies, and tumor purities.
Journal ArticleDOI
A comparison of genomic diagnostics in adults and children with epilepsy and comorbid intellectual disability
Katherine A. Benson,Maire White,Nicholas M. Allen,Susan Byrne,Susan Byrne,Robert Carton,Elizabeth Comerford,Daniel J. Costello,Colin P. TL;DR: It is demonstrated that whole exome sequencing has similar utility in both adult and paediatric cohorts and is appropriate for diagnostic testing in both epilepsy patient groups and a 2.7% rate of ACMG-defined incidental findings is observed.
