Journal ArticleDOI
No evidence of frequent association of the JAK2 V617F mutation with acute myocardial infarction in young patients
Marianna Politou,Christine Zoi,Issa J Dahabreh,Issa J Dahabreh,Loukianos S. Rallidis,Argyri Gialeraki,Dimitris Loukopoulos,Katerina Zoi +7 more
TL;DR: No evidence of frequent association of the JAK2 V617F mutation with acute myocardial infarction in young patients is found.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bone Marrow Ribonucleotide Reductase mRNA Levels and Methylation Status As a Prognostic Factor in Patients with Myelodysplastic Syndrome Treated with 5-Azacytidine
Christina-Nefeli Kontandreopoulou,Panagiotis T. Diamantopoulos,Argiris Symeonidis,Ioannis Kotsianidis,Vassiliki Pappa,Athanasios Galanopoulos,Andreas Giannopoulos,Katerina Zoi,Maria Dimou,Elena E. Solomou,Panayiotis Panayiotidis,Georgios Kyriakakis,Nefeli Giannakopoulou,Georgios Dryllis,Sevastianos Chatzidavid,Nora-Athina Viniou +15 more
TL;DR: The potential role of RNR as a prognostic factor in patients with MDS and the correlation of bone marrow RNR mRNA levels with treatment response to AZA was investigated and no correlation of any other of the studied factors was found.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bone marrow ribonucleotide reductase mRNA levels and methylation status as prognostic factors in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome treated with 5-Azacytidine.
Christina-Nefeli Kontandreopoulou,Panagiotis T. Diamantopoulos,Andreas Giannopoulos,Argiris Symeonidis,Ioannis Kotsianidis,Vasiliki Pappa,Athanasios Galanopoulos,Panayiotis Panayiotidis,Maria Dimou,Elena E. Solomou,Theodoros Loupis,Katerina Zoi,Nefeli Giannakopoulou,Georgios Dryllis,Sevastianos Hatzidavid,Nora-Athina Viniou +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the expression of RNR is correlated with clinical outcomes, thus its expression could be used as a prognostic factor for response to 5-azacytidine and a possible therapeutic target in MDS.
