Journal ArticleDOI
Phase Signature of Topological Transition in Josephson Junctions.
Matthieu C. Dartiailh,William Mayer,Joseph Yuan,Kaushini Wickramasinghe,Alex Matos-Abiague,Igor Žutić,Javad Shabani +6 more
TL;DR: Embedding two gate-tunable Al/InAs Josephson junctions in a loop geometry confirms that the signatures of a topological transition are compatible with the emergence of Majorana bound states.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gate controlled anomalous phase shift in Al/InAs Josephson junctions.
William Mayer,Matthieu C. Dartiailh,Joseph Yuan,Kaushini Wickramasinghe,Enrico Rossi,Javad Shabani +5 more
TL;DR: By gate controlling the density of InAs, the authors are able to tune the spin–orbit coupling in the Josephson junction, which gives them the ability to tuning the anomalous phase, and opens new opportunities for superconducting spintronics, and new possibilities for realizing and characterizing topological superconductivity.
Journal ArticleDOI
The multi-terminal Josephson effect
Natalia Pankratova,Hanho Lee,Roman Kuzmin,Maxim Vavilov,Kaushini Wickramasinghe,William Mayer,Joseph Yuan,Javad Shabani,Vladimir Manucharyan +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the first observation of Josephson effect in 3 and 4-terminal junctions, fabricated in a top-down fashion from a semiconductor/superconductor epitaxial two-dimensional heterostructure, was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Superconducting proximity effect in epitaxial Al-InAs heterostructures
William Mayer,Joseph Yuan,Kaushini Wickramasinghe,Kaushini Wickramasinghe,Tri Nguyen,Matthieu C. Dartiailh,Javad Shabani +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors compared the ICRN/IexRN/Δ ∼ 2.2 and IexRN / Δ ∼ 1.5 in semiconductor weak links with and without epitaxial contacts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Missing Shapiro steps in topologically trivial Josephson Junction on InAs quantum well
Matthieu C. Dartiailh,Joseph Cuozzo,William Mayer,Joseph Yuan,Kaushini Wickramasinghe,Enrico Rossi,Javad Shabani +6 more
TL;DR: Observations of missing odd Shapiro steps in topologically trivial Josephson junctions due to high transparency of the junctions are observed, calling for caution in relationship to topological superconductivity.
