Targeted Drug Delivery in Covalent Organic Nanosheets (CONs) via Sequential Postsynthetic Modification
Shouvik Mitra,Himadri Sekhar Sasmal,Himadri Sekhar Sasmal,Tanay Kundu,Tanay Kundu,Sharath Kandambeth,Sharath Kandambeth,Kavya Illath,Kavya Illath,David Díaz Díaz,David Díaz Díaz,Rahul Banerjee,Rahul Banerjee +12 more
TL;DR: A facile, salt-mediated synthesis of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) in the presence of p-toluenesulfonic acid resulted in simultaneous chemical delamination and functionalization to targeted CONs, which showed sustained release of the drug to the cancer cells through receptor-mediated endocytosis, which led to cancer cell death via apoptosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
M–Au/TiO2 (M = Ag, Pd, and Pt) nanophotocatalyst for overall solar water splitting: role of interfaces
Ambrose A. Melvin,Kavya Illath,Tanmay Das,Thirumalaiswamy Raja,Somnath Bhattacharyya,Chinnakonda S. Gopinath +5 more
TL;DR: These in-depth studies show that gold interacts predominantly with oxygen vacancies present on titania surfaces, and Pt preferentially interacts with gold for an effective electron-hole pair separation at Pt-Au interfaces and electron storage in metal particles.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multi-mode hydrogen storage in nanocontainers
Suboohi Shervani,Puspal Mukherjee,Anshul Gupta,Gargi Mishra,Kavya Illath,Thalasseril G. Ajithkumar,Sri Sivakumar,Pratik Sen,Kantesh Balani,Anandh Subramaniam +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a paradigm shift in the philosophy of hydrogen storage using a novel strategy of storage of molecular hydrogen in metal (Pd) nanocontainers was established, and it was observed that 18% hydrogen is in molecular form.
Journal ArticleDOI
Is there any Real Effect of Low Dimensional Morphologies towards Light Harvesting? A Case Study of Au–rGO-TiO2 Nanocomposites
TL;DR: In this article, 1D TiO2 nanotube (1D-TN) with 2D reduced graphene oxide (rGO) along with nano gold for visible light sensitization for photocatalytic H2 generation under one sun condition and visible light (λ≥ 400 nm).
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterization of LAGP-glass-ceramics-based composite solid polymer electrolyte for solid-state Li-ion battery application
Anurup Das,Anurup Das,Madhumita Goswami,Madhumita Goswami,Kavya Illath,Kavya Illath,Thalasseril G. Ajithkumar,Thalasseril G. Ajithkumar,A. Arya,M. Krishnan +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a composite solid electrolyte (CSE) was prepared with poly(vinylidene fluoride-cohexaflurophoaphate) (P(VDF-HFP)), 20wt% LAGP, Lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (LiTFSI) and 1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis-(triffluoromethemylsulfonyll)-imide(EMITFSI).
