Journal ArticleDOI
Improvement of solubility and oral bioavailability of a poorly water‐soluble drug, TAS‐301, by its melt‐adsorption on a porous calcium silicate
Masahiro Kinoshita,Kazuhiko Baba,Atushi Nagayasu,Kanoo Yamabe,Takashi Shimooka,Yoh'ichiro Takeichi,Mami Azuma,Hitoshi Houchi,Kazuo Minakuchi +8 more
TL;DR: The present findings suggest melt-adsorption is a useful technique for improving solubility and bioavailability of poorly water-soluble drugs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Highly stabilized amorphous 3-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)methylene-2-indolinone (TAS-301) in melt-adsorbed products with silicate compounds.
Masahiro Kinoshita,Kazuhiko Baba,Atsushi Nagayasu,Kanoo Yamabe,Mami Azuma,Hitoshi Houchi,Kazuo Minakuchi +6 more
TL;DR: The results indicate the importance of optimizing the above factors in the preparation of melt-adsorbed product and indicate the stability of amorphous state of 3-Bis(4-Methoxyphenyl)methylene-2-indolinone is low in rats and dogs.

Pharmaceutical composition improved in absorbability
TL;DR: In this paper, the subject composition improved in solubility and absorbability by making a specific indolinone amorphous in the presence of a high molecular substance and inorganic porous substance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combinative Improving Effect of Increased Solubility and the Use of Absorption Enhancers on the Rectal Absorption of Uracil in Beagle Dogs
Yoh'ichiro Takeichi,Kazuhiko Baba,Yoshihito Kinouchi,Yuichi Iida,Yukihiko Umeno,Shozo Muranishi,Yoshinobu Nakai +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, an improvement of rectal absorption of uracil was examined by the application of absorption enhancers in addition to the increased solubility of Uracil.
