TL;DR: The POMS (Profile of Mood States) was translated into Japanese, and reliability and validity of the Japanese edition was assessed on 354 healthy males, indicating that the POMs had good criterion-related validity, except for "Anger-Hostility".

Subclinical neurophysiological effects of lead: A review on peripheral, central, and autonomic nervous system effects in lead workers.

TL;DR: An overview of research addressing subclinical neurophysiological effects of lead in workers exposed to lead is presented and it is suggested that, on a group basis, the reduction in the NCV, together with the effects on the P300 latency, postural balance, and CV(RR), occurs at a mean blood lead concentration as low as 30-40 microg/dL.

Dietary cadmium intake and breast cancer risk in Japanese women: a case-control study.

TL;DR: Higher cadmium intake was associated with increased risk of ER+ breast cancer in postmenopausal women, at least at regular intake levels in Japanese women in the general population, and further studies are needed to confirm this association.
