Determination of nonstoichiometry in YBa2Cu3O7−x

TL;DR: Oxygen nonstoichiometry of the YBa2Cu3O7-x phase has been determined for between 200 to 850°C and oxygen partial pressure of 10 to 30×10-4 atm by thermogravimetric measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formation and crystallization of beta-alumina from precursor prepared by sol-gel method using metal alkoxides

TL;DR: In this paper, a uniform gels by the sol-gel method using metal alkoxides has been examined to prepare bulk Na2OAl2O3 crystalline phases in a wide range of composition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phase Relation of ZrO2-YO1.5-TiO2 Ceramics Prepared by Sol-Gel Method

TL;DR: In this article, the phase relationship in ZrO2-YO1.5-TiO2 system, solid solubility of TiO2 in yttria stabilized zirconia (YSZ) and phase stability have been investigated for the samples prepared by sol-gel method after the heat treatment between 1073 and 1923K for 10 to 100h using a powder X-ray diffraction analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Defect chemical study of Nd2-xCexCuO4-δ

TL;DR: In this paper, the defect structure has been interpreted in terms of a model assuming doubly charged oxygen vacancies (Vo) predominate in Nd 2 CuO 4− δ at large values of δ above 973 K and that the intrinsic ionization predominates at near stoichiometric composition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization of sodium β-alumina prepared by sol-gel method

TL;DR: In this article, the electrical properties of both the transparent gel and sodium β-alumina with the composition of Na2O·6Al2O3 prepared by the sol-gel method were studied.
