Journal ArticleDOI
Purification of the NaI(Tl) crystal for dark matter search project PICOLON
Yoshihiko Kanemitsu,D. Chernyak,Hiroyasu Ejiri,Ken-Ichi Fushimi,Kazumi Hata,Ryuta Hazama,H. Ikeda,K. Imagawa,Kunio Inoue,A. Kozlov,Reiko Orito,Tatsushi Shima,Y. Takemoto,Saori Umehara,K. Yasuda,S. Yoshida +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors tried to purify NaI(Tl) crystal to search for dark matter, and the present status of purification was discussed and low background measurement in Kamioka observatory was shown.
Journal ArticleDOI
Double beta decays of 100Mo by ELEGANT V at Oto Cosmo Observatory
Nobuyuki Kudomi,H. Ejiri,Ken-Ichi Fushimi,K. Hayashi,Ryuta Hazama,T. Kishimoto,Kyo Kume,H. Kuramoto,T. Matsuoka,H. Ohsumi,K. Takahisa,Yasuhiro Tsujimoto,S. Yoshida +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the present status of the double beta decay experiment with ELEGANT V is presented, which gives stringent limits on half-lives for 0νββ and m ν ν ǫ for 100 Mo.
Journal Article
Analogs of the giant dipole and spin-dipole resonances in 4He and in a clusters of 6,7Li studied by the 4He,6,7Li(7Li,7Beγ) reactions
Shintaro Nakayama,Tamio Yamagata,Erika Matsumoto,Hidetoshi Akimune,S. Asaji,M. Fujiwara,Ken-Ichi Fushimi,M. B. Greenfield,H. Hashimoto,R. Hayami,H. Ikemizu,Takashi Ishida,Keigo Kawase,H. Kawasuso,T. Kudoh,K. Nakanishi,T. Oota,K. Sagara,Momoko Tanaka,K. Yasuda,M. Yosoi +20 more
TL;DR: In this article, analogs of the giant dipole resonance and spin-dipole resonance were studied in 4 He and in the a clusters of 6,7 Li via the ( 7 Li, 7 Beγ) reactions on 4 He, 6 Li, and 7 Li at an incident energy of 455 MeV and at a scattering angle of 0° by measuring spin-nonflip and spinflip spectra.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
WIMPs search by exclusive measurements with thin multilayer NaI(Tl) scintillators (PICO-LON)
Ken-Ichi Fushimi,H. Kawasuso,K. Yasuda,Y. Kameda,Norihiko Koori,Shintaro Nakayama,K. Ichihara,Masaharu Nomachi,S. Umehara,R. Hazama,S. Yoshida,Hiroyasu Ejiri,K. Imagawa,H. Ito +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of thin NaI(Tl) scintillator was measured and they showed good energy resolution (20% at 60keV) and good position resolution ( 20% in 5cmx5cm wider area).
Journal ArticleDOI
A Study on Energy Resolution of CANDLES Detector
B. T. Khai,S. Ajimura,W. M. Chan,Ken-Ichi Fushimi,Ryuta Hazama,H. Hiraoka,Takashi Iida,K. Kanagawa,H. Kino,Tadafumi Kishimoto,Toshihiro Maeda,K. Nakajima,Masaharu Nomachi,Izumi Ogawa,T. Ohata,K. Suzuki,Y. Takemoto,Y. Takihira,Y. Tamagawa,M. Tozawa,M. Tsuzuki,Saori Umehara,Sei Yoshida +22 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used photon counting to obtain the number of photo-electrons in each PMT to avoid photoelectron signal overlapping probability, which severely degrades the resolution.
