Ordered arrangement of carbon and copper atoms in (C0.4Cu0.6)Sr2(Y0.86Sr0.14)Cu2O7
TL;DR: An ordered arrangement of carbon and copper atoms in the new compound (C 0.4 Cu 0.6 )Sr 2 (Y 0.86 Sr 0.14 )Cu 2 O 7 was investigated by means of electron diffraction and high-resolution electron microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI
X-ray and neutron single-crystal diffraction study on La1.92Sr0.08CuO4−y
Tsuyoshi Kajitani,Kenji Hiraga,Tetsuo Sakurai,Makoto Hirabayashi,Syoichi Hosoya,Tsuguo Fukuda,Katsuyoshi Oh-ishi +6 more
TL;DR: X-ray diffraction study on as-grown and quenched La 192 Sr 008 CuO 4 y single-crystals from 827 K or 1373 K was carried out.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microstructure of Fe–Cu–Nb–Si–B Soft Magnetic Alloys Studied by Transmission Electron Microscopy
Kenji Hiraga,O. Kohmoto +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the structural properties of soft magnetic Fe 73.5 CuNb 3 Si 13.5 B 9 alloys have been investigated by transmission electron microscopy, showing that the as-quenched alloy shows a homogeneous amorphous strurture without any microcrystalline regions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tetragonal-Orthorhombic Phase Transition of La2CoO4-x
TL;DR: In this paper, a tetragonal-to-orthorhombic phase transition at about 410 K was found by a X-ray powder diffraction study on the title oxide synthesized in a lamp-image floating zone furnace.
Journal ArticleDOI
Atomic disordering in an Al–Ru–Cu icosahedral quasicrystal
TL;DR: In this paper, the superlattice reflections interpreted by face-centred six-dimensional hypercubic lattices, which are observed in the conventionally solidified quasicrystal, are considerably weaker or non-existent in rapidly solidified material.
