Journal ArticleDOI

Solubility and properties of a poly(aryl ether ketone) in strong acids

TL;DR: Proprietes des solutions diluees de poly(oxy phenyleneoxy phenylenecarbonyl phenylene-1,4) dans l'acide sulfurique et HSO 3 Cl. Modification chimique du polymere dans ces acides
Journal ArticleDOI

Detection of a major conformational change in transfer ribonucleic acid by laser light scattering

TL;DR: The results reveal that a major change occurs in the conformation of tRNA when the ionic strength is reduced from 0·2 m to 0·1 m in the presence of 1·0 m m -magnesium at pH 7·2 and 20°C and a ‘block and hinge’ model is proposed to explain the conformational change.
Journal ArticleDOI

pH-dependent vesicle-to-micelle transition in an aqueous mixture of dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine and a hydrophobic polyelectrolyte

TL;DR: The capacity to respond to chemical and physical stimuli is an essential characteristic of biological membranes and is subject to control as a result of the responsive nature of the bilayer membrane.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dynamic light-scattering studies of polymer diffusion in porous materials: linear polystyrene in porous glass

TL;DR: The relation entre la masse moleculaire and le coefficient de diffusion translationnelle, dans trois verres differents, de solutions diluees de polystyrene dans un bon solvant is discussed in this article.
