Synthesis, antitumour and antimicrobial activities of new peptidyl derivatives containing the 1,3-benzodioxole system
Ana Cristina Lima Leite,Kezia Peixoto da Silva,Ivone Antônia de Souza,Janete Magali de Araújo,Dalci José Brondani +4 more
TL;DR: Two series of 5 and 6-substituted 1,3-benzodioxole peptidyl derivatives were synthesized and evaluated as antitumour and antimicrobial agents and revealed that they are able to promote the growth of some organisms, including Bacillus subtilis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of 1,3-benzodioxole derivatives containing a amino acid moiety in side chain
TL;DR: A synthetic sequence dealing with the synthesis of the safrole derivatives which present an amino-acyl moiety in a side chain is developed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of peptidyl benzodioxole derivatives from safrole, a potential class of antitumor drugs
Kezia Peixoto da Silva, lvone Α de Souza,Antônio Rodolfo de Faria,Dalci José Brondani,Ana Cristina Lima Leite +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of peptidyl compounds using natural safrole is described, where the 1,3-benzodioxole group was initially converted into a 6-alyl-benzo[l,3]dioxole-5-ilamine.
