The Infra-red Spectra of Complex Molecules.

The article is dedicated to the development of processes for (oligo)alkylation of petroleum fractions rich in aromatic hydrocarbons, with α-olefins (hexene-1, octene-1, decene-1) in the presence of ionic-liquid catalytic systems and the study of the properties of the products obtained. Alkylation reactions were carried out in the presence of chloroaluminate ionic liquids; for the first time a (nano)metal-polymer composite (NMPC) was used in the catalytic system as a modifier, and zinc chloride (ZnCl2) was used in the catalytic system as a component and the results were compared. It has been shown that these ionic liquid catalytic systems (ILCS) are suitable for (oligo)alkylation reactions and the use of these additives in their composition will lead to efficient alkylation. The products obtained were analyzed by IR-, NMR- spectroscopy, fluorescent indicator adsorption methods, and size exclusion chromatography. It was shown that these petroleum fractions rich in aromatic hydrocarbons can be used as alkylation components, and depending on the composition of the ILCS, it is possible to regulate the molecular, thermophysical and other characteristics of the products obtained based on them. The alkylated products obtained have been tested as plasticizing additives in polyolefin composites.

The alkylation of oil fractions rich in aromatic hydrocarbons with C6, C8 and C10 α - olefins in the presence of ionic liquids catalytic systems

The oligomerization of ethylene was investigated in the presence of novel catalytic systems consisting of alkylaluminium chlorides and heterogenized zirconium phenolates containing amino and imino hydrochloride substituents. It was determined that the composition of a synthesized oligomer and the activity or selectivity of the catalyst systems depend on various parameters such as the molar ratio of Zr:Al, the composition of alkylaluminium, the temperature of the reaction, the pressure of ethylene and the structure of zirconium phenolates. The results showed that C4-C10 linear α-olefins were obtained with high selectivity when diethylaluminium chloride was used as a co-catalyst. The process of the separation of a synthesized oligomer from the catalyst containing amino and imino hydrochloride ionic liquid substituents was carried out by simple decantation, and after this process zirconium complexes could be reused several times for successive ethylene oligomerizations.

Oligomerization of ethylene in the presence of heterogenized complex catalytic systems based on ionic liquid‐type substituted zirconium phenolates

In this present paper, the results oligomerizaton and alkylation of decene-1 in the presence of recyclable chloroaluminate type ionic-liquid catalysts. The composition and structure of oligoalkyl (naphtenic) products obtained in the presence of ionic-liquid catalysts studied by different methods of analysis. The oligomerization of decene-1 in various conditions in the presence of the ionic liquid of chloroaluminate type has been carried out, the kinetic curves have been constructed.

Oligomerization and alkylation decene-1 in the presense chloroaluminate ionic liquids

Low temperature ionic liquids (LTILs) are widely investigated recent years as replacement for environmentally hazardous volatile organic solvents (VOS). They are highly solvating liquids, composed of bulky cations and anions, which dissolve many organic and inorganic substances. Their unique peculiarities such as non-volatility, non-flammability, low melting points, high thermal stability in a wide temperature range, relatively low viscosity, inexpensivity to manufacture and so on have attracted interests of investigators from industrial and academic research centers from all around the world. In the last few years there appeared a lot of papers and patents, devoted to preparation methods, solvent properties and application of ionic liquids as a solvents in different processes. This review presents an overview of some published results of these investigations concerning preparation methods and solvent properties of low temperature ionic liquids.

Preparation Methods, Physicochemical and Solvent Properties of Low Temperature Ionic Liquids

In this present paper, the result of C6-C12 α-olefins oligomerizaton in the presence
of recyclable chloroaluminate type ionic-liquid catalysts and their combination
with Ti-containing complexes is presented. By different methods of analysis the
composition and structure of oligoalkylnaphtenic products obtained in the
presence of ionic-liquid catalysts and Ti-containing modifiers have been
studied.
