Journal ArticleDOI

Formation of heterocyclic products in michael reactions of ascorbic acid with α,β-unsaturated compounds. 3rd communication . Structural analysis of michael adducts of ascorbic acid by 13C-nmr spectroscopy in the solid state †‡

TL;DR: The structure of the Michael adducts of ascorbic acid and AA-6-palmitate with acrolein can be unambiguously determined by using 13 C-nmr solid state spectroscopy as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Metabolism and excretion of 1-hydroxymethylpyrene, the proximate metabolite of the carcinogen 1-methylpyrene, in rats.

TL;DR: Six major metabolites were observed by UV and on-line radioactivity detection in urine samples and feces after HPLC separation and were characterized by mass spectrometry, (1)H NMR and (2)H COSY NMR spectroscopy, which allowed assigning tentative molecular structures.

Method for applying substances onto nonporous silica gel particles

Klaus Albert, +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a method for producing nonporous silica gel particles which have an adjustable uniform size of less than 15 µm and on or onto the surface of which biologically and/or chemically active substances are immobilized or applied is described.
