Tribological properties of polyol ester – commercial motorbike engine oil blends
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of blending bio-lubricant with commercial lubricant on physico-chemical and tribological properties was investigated and the optimum volume percent of blend was found to be 15% PE blend and 10% TMP blend for optimum overall performance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of tribological properties and engine performance of polyol ester–based bio-lubricant: Commercial motorbike engine oil blends
Chandra Mouli V.V. Kotturu,V. Srinivas,V. Vandana,Kodanda Rama Rao Chebattina,Y Seetha Rama Rao +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of blending polyol ester-based bio-lubricant with commercial lubricant on engine performance is explored. Polyol esters trimethylolpropane ester and pentaerythritol esTER we...
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Size of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes Dispersed in Gear Oils for Improvement of Tribological Properties
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of size of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) as additives for dispersion in gear oil to improve the tribological properties was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
H2O2 as fuel additive in bio-diesel for emission reduction and performance enhancement of variable compression ratio (VCR) diesel engine
Kodanda Rama Rao Chebattina,Srinivas Vadapalli,Uma Chaithanya Pathem,Ashok Sirasapalli,Chanakkya Chandreish Lodagala,SM Sudarshan Reddy Billakurthi,Naga Chandra Sekhar Annamdevara,Abdul Razack Mohammad +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, an attempt has been made to use biodiesel blend with hydrogen peroxide(H2O2) in the engine and was tested and compared with biodiesel (B100) and diesel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparative Study of TiO2 Nanoparticles and Alcoholic Fuel Additives-Biodiesel-Diesel Blend for Combustion, Performance, and Emission Improvements
Gandhi Pullagura,Jogarao Bikkavolu,Srinivas Vadapalli,Kodanda Rama Rao Chebattina,Viswadeepika Kuchipudi +4 more
TL;DR: In this article , the performance, combustion, and emission parameters of a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, direct injection (DI), compression ignition (CI) engine were investigated using a nano fuel blend of 20% Tamarind oil methyl ester and 80% diesel.
