Extinguishment of counterflow methane/air diffusion flame by polydisperse fine water droplets

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of fine water droplets on extinguishment of a methane-air counterflow diffusion flame, which was generated by piezoelectric atomizer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Benzene pyrolysis and PM formation study using a flow reactor

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of temperature and oxygen on benzene pyrolysis and formation of PM in a diluted benzene-oxygen mixture were studied using a flow reactor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Oxygen effect on PAH and PM formation in low temperature benzene pyrolysis

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of temperature, especially low temperature, and oxygen on these processes were analyzed by independent control of them using GC-FID, and the total mass concentrations of single-, two-, three-, and four-ring aromatics were evaluated.
Journal ArticleDOI

PAHs and PM formed by low temperature pyrolysis and oxidation of hydrocarbon fuel

TL;DR: In this paper , the mass concentration of PM and PAH formed by low temperature pyrolysis and oxidation of hydrocarbon fuel using a flow reactor were investigated, and it was found that the PM increased with temperature raise under various equivalent ratio conditions (φ = ∞, 6.2 and 2.8).
