Journal ArticleDOI

High thermal conductivity of hexagonal boron nitride laminates

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that laminates of hexagonal boron nitride exhibit thermal conductivity of up to 20 W/mK, which is significantly larger than that currently used in thermal management.
Journal ArticleDOI

Moiré-Modulated Conductance of Hexagonal Boron Nitride Tunnel Barriers.

TL;DR: The results show clearly a spatial periodicity of tunnel current due to the formation of a moiré superlattice and it is argued that this can provide a mechanism for elastic scattering of charge carriers for similar interfaces embedded in graphene/hBN resonant tunnel diodes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Collective electron phenomena and electron transport in graphene (Scientific session of the Physical Sciences Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 27 February 2008)

TL;DR: A scientific session of the Physical Sciences Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) was held on February 27, 2008 in the conference hall of the Lebedev Physical Institute, RAS as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electromechanical sensing of substrate charge hidden under atomic 2D crystals.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that charges buried under the few layer graphene on/in the insulating substrate can be detected using electromechanical actuation of the conductive atomically thin layers, allowing measurements of areal density of film-substrate transferred charges under few layer graphite and MoS2 suspended films.
