SVM-Based feature selection of latent semantic features

TL;DR: This work proposes to apply feature ordering method based on support vector machines in order to select LSI-features that are suited for classification and suggests that the method improves classification performance with considerably more compact representation.

Method, system and program for supporting input of execution parameter of predetermined software to input field

TL;DR: In this article, the input of a text character string including one or more execution parameters in the input field displayed on a display device is presented. But the execution options displayed can vary with the type of selection of the part of the text character text.

Digest video browsing based on collaborative information

TL;DR: In this paper, a computer implemented method determines interest in video portions, including frames, and a composite rating counter including interest levels are retrieved, each interest level corresponds to a frame.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-Q concentrated directional emission from egg-shaped asymmetric resonant cavities.

TL;DR: According to numerical analysis based on a ray-optics model, more than an order-of-magnitude higher Q and more-concentrated emission from the tip of the egg region were obtained for egg-shaped ARCs than for the previously studied quadrupolar ARCs.
