Multimodal porous CNT@TiO2 nanocables with superior performance in lithium-ion batteries

TL;DR: In this article, a multimodal porous CNT@TiO2 core-sheath coaxial nanocables have been constructed by a sol-gel method and post-calcination in the presence of polymer nanotubes acting as a template and carbon source.
Journal ArticleDOI

Syntheses, characterization and crystal structures of mixed-ligand Cu(II), Ni(II) and Mn(II) complexes of N-(1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-propenylidene-5-pyrazolone)-salicylidene hydrazide containing ethanol or pyridine as a co-ligand

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors showed that when a co-ligand was present in the synthetic reaction, other coordination sites around the metal ions Cu2+ and Ni2+ were completed either by the ethanol or pyridine molecules under the common solvent reaction or solvothermal syntheses conditions, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

A simple approach of constructing sulfur-containing porous carbon nanotubes for high-performance supercapacitors

TL;DR: Porous carbon nanotubes (PCNTs) containing sulfur were successfully fabricated through a simple approach, which is the simultaneous activation and carbonization of sulfonated polydivinylbenzene (PBN) nanotube with KOH as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal structure and spectroscopic study on photochromism of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzal-5-pyrazolone 4-ethylthiosemicarbazone

TL;DR: The crystal structure of the title compound 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzal-5-pyrazolone 4-ethyl thiosemicarbazone (PMBP-ETSC) was determined by X-ray analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of Gd3+ doping on the luminescent of Sr2P2O7:Eu3+ orange–red phosphors

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel orange-red emitting Sr 2 P 2 O 7 :Eu 3+, Gd 3+ phosphor was synthesized by a traditional solid state reaction method in air atmosphere.
