Journal ArticleDOI

Power delivery efficiency of a wheeled tractor at oblique drawbar force

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate the dependence of wheeled tractor power delivery efficiency on wheel slippage for central and oblique drawbar forces, both on plowed and unplowed stubble.
Journal ArticleDOI

Possibility of using biodiesel from sunflower oil as an additive for the improvement of lubrication properties of low-sulfur diesel fuel

TL;DR: In this paper, the use of biodiesel as an additive for improving the lubrication properties of diesel fuel has been investigated, with the aim of eliminating the adverse effect of fuel.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of accelerated oxidation on the selected fuel properties and composition of biodiesel

TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured and analyzed changes of selected physical and chemical properties of biodiesel produced from different raw materials during the intensive (accelerated) contact with air at elevated temperature (110 °C).
Journal ArticleDOI

Corn seeding process fault cause analysis based on a theoretical and experimental approach

TL;DR: A photo-electronic device which monitors the seed flow at free fall after leaving the seeding mechanism and finds the applied optimization method can be a useful tool for finding the best possible combination of input parameters observed in the test in order to fulfill the criteria which vary depending on the user’s needs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of biodiesel on the performances of farm tractors: Experimental testing in stationary and non-stationary conditions

TL;DR: In this article, the results of tests conducted in both stationary and non-stationary conditions indicate that, in contrast to fossil diesel, the use of biodiesel and blends of BDI and fossil diesel reduce the power of engine and drawbar power, and increase specific fuel consumption.
