Journal ArticleDOI
Citrate anticoagulation for continuous venovenous hemofiltration.
Heleen M. Oudemans-van Straaten,Rob J. Bosman,Matty Koopmans,Peter H. J. van der Voort,Jos P.J. Wester,Johan I. van der Spoel,Lea M. Dijksman,Durk F. Zandstra +7 more
TL;DR: The efficacy of citrate and nadroparin anticoagulation for CVVH was similar, however, citrate was safer and post hoc citrate appeared particularly beneficial after surgery, in sepsis and severe multiple organ failure, suggesting interference with inflammation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Randomized trial comparing same-day discharge with overnight hospital stay after percutaneous coronary intervention: results of the Elective PCI in Outpatient Study (EPOS).
Gerlind S. Heyde,Karel T. Koch,Robbert J. de Winter,Marcel G. W. Dijkgraaf,Margriet I. Klees,Lea M. Dijksman,Jan J. Piek,Jan G.P. Tijssen +7 more
TL;DR: Same-day discharge after elective PCI is feasible and safe in the majority (80%) of patients selected for day-case PCI and does not lead to additional complications compared with overnight stay.
Journal ArticleDOI
Long-term results after arthroscopic shoulder stabilization using suture anchors: an 8- to 10-year follow-up
J.A. van der Linde,D.A. van Kampen,Caroline B. Terwee,Lea M. Dijksman,G. Kleinjan,W. J. Willems +5 more
TL;DR: A trend is found for an inverse relationship between the number of suture anchors and recurrent instability, with 2 having a higher recurrence rate than 3 or more and another trend was found with the presence of a Hill-Sachs defect slightly increasing the risk of a redislocation.
Journal ArticleDOI
The prognostic value of combined intracoronary pressure and blood flow velocity measurements after deferral of percutaneous coronary intervention.
Martijn Meuwissen,Steven A. J. Chamuleau,Maria Siebes,Robbert J. de Winter,Karel T. Koch,Lea M. Dijksman,Anja J. van den Berg,Jan G.P. Tijssen,Jos A. E. Spaan,Jan J. Piek +9 more
TL;DR: Deferral of PCI in this group was associated with a high MACE rate, which underscores the rationale of combined pressure and flow measurements providing a stenosis resistance index that is better suited for clinical decision making in these lesions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lower versus Traditional Treatment Threshold for Neonatal Hypoglycemia
A. A. M. W. van Kempen,P. F. Eskes,D. H. G. M. Nuytemans,JH van der Lee,Lea M. Dijksman,N. van Veenendaal,F. J. P. C. M. van der Hulst,R. M. J. Moonen,Luc J. I. Zimmermann,E. P. van't Verlaat,M. van Dongen-van Baal,B. A. Semmekrot,H. G. Stas,R. H. T. van Beek,J. J. Vlietman,P. H. Dijk,J. U. M. Termote,R. C. J. de Jonge,A. C. de Mol,M. W. A. Huysman,Joke H. Kok,Martin Offringa,Nicole Boluyt +22 more
TL;DR: In otherwise healthy newborns with asymptomatic moderate hypoglycemia, a lower glucose treatment threshold was noninferior to a traditional threshold with regard to psychomotor development at 18 months.
