Luminescent Copper(I) complexes as promising materials for the next generation of energy-saving OLED devices
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present an overview of the development of OLEDs, by comparing the mechanisms and efficiencies of different complexes and discuss the reasons why Cu(I) complexes have potential to be one of the most efficient alternatives for energy saving in lighting.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nanoparticle characterization of Er-doped SnO2 pellets obtained with different pH of colloidal suspension
Leandro P. Ravaro,Luis Vicente de Andrade Scalvi,A. Tabata,F. M. Pontes,José Brás Barreto de Oliveira +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, the nanocrystal depletion layer thickness was obtained with the help of photoluminescence, Raman, X-ray diffraction, and field-emission gun scanning electron microscopy measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI
New emissive mononuclear copper (I) complex: Structural and photophysical characterization focusing on solvatochromism, rigidochromism and oxygen sensing in mesoporous solid matrix
Leandro P. Ravaro,Leandro P. Ravaro,Ana Carolina Mafud,Zhi Li,Eric W. Reinheimer,Carlos A. de Simone,Yvonne Primerano Mascarenhas,Peter C. Ford,Andrea S. S. de Camargo +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, structural and photophysical properties of a new emissive copper (I) complex CuI(PPh3) (L) (1, L = 4,4′-dimethoxy-2,2′-bipyridine) were analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of pH of colloidal suspension on crystallization and activation energy of deep levels in SnO2 thin films obtained via sol-gel
TL;DR: In this article, X-ray diffractograms of colloidal suspensions of tin dioxide (SnO 2 ) indicate higher crystallinity for lower pH, which leads to activation energies of the deepest level, which was between 67 and 140meV, for the films prepared from suspensions with pH 6-11.
Journal ArticleDOI
The polynuclear complex Cu4I4py4 loaded in mesoporous silica: photophysics, theoretical investigation, and highly sensitive oxygen sensing application
Leandro P. Ravaro,Tiago R. Almeida,Rodrigo Q. Albuquerque,Rodrigo Q. Albuquerque,Andrea S. S. de Camargo +4 more
TL;DR: The synthesis of the polynuclear complex Cu4I4py4 and its wet impregnation in a mesoporous silica host obtained by sol-gel methodology is presented, suggesting that the new material is a promising candidate for high sensitivity oxygen sensing.
