Integrated Terahertz Generator-Manipulators Using Epsilon-near-Zero-Hybrid Nonlinear Metasurfaces.
Yongchang Lu,Yongchang Lu,Xi Feng,Xi Feng,Qingwei Wang,Qingwei Wang,Xueqian Zhang,Ming Fang,Wei E. I. Sha,Zhixiang Huang,Quan Xu,Li Niu,Xieyu Chen,Chunmei Ouyang,Yuanmu Yang,Xixiang Zhang,Eric Plum,Shuang Zhang,Jiaguang Han,Weili Zhang +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a hybrid nonlinear plasmonic metasurface incorporating an epsilon-near-zero (ENZ) indium tin oxide (ITO) layer is proposed to combine efficient generation and manipulation of THz waves across a wide frequency band.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tong Wu,Xueqian Zhang,Quan Xu,Eric Plum,Kaiji Chen,Yuehong Xu,Yongchang Lu,Huifang Zhang,Ziying Zhang,Xieyu Chen,Guanhua Ren,Li Niu,Zhen Tian,Jiaguang Han,Jiaguang Han,Weili Zhang +15 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Coupling Plasmonic System for Efficient Wavefront Control.
Li Niu,Quan Xu,Xueqian Zhang,Ziying Zhang,Shaoxian Li,Xieyu Chen,Yuehong Xu,Jiajun Ma,Ming Kang,Jiaguang Han,Weili Zhang +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a reflection-type coupling system composed by two identical linear resonances in a metal-insulator-metal configuration is theoretically proposed using the coupled-mode theory, whose phase diagram can be well controlled upon the coupling changes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spin‐Decoupled Interference Metasurfaces for Complete Complex‐Vectorial‐Field Control and Five‐Channel Imaging
Tong Wu,Quan Xu,Xueqian Zhang,Yue Hong Xu,Xieyu Chen,Xi Feng,Li Niu,Fan Huang,Jiaguang Han,Wei Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new metasurface paradigm is proposed that can completely manipulate the amplitudes and phases of two spin components based on the interference effect, where only two different meta-atoms are applied.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tailorable Polarization‐Dependent Directional Coupling of Surface Plasmons
Jien-Lein Han,Yue Hong Xu,Huifang Zhang,Yuanhao Lang,Xiaohan Jiang,Xieyu Chen,Xi Feng,Li Niu,Yanfeng Li,Xueqian Zhang,Quan Xu,Quan Li,Jiaguang Han,Wei Zhang +13 more
TL;DR: In this article , a directional coupling strategy is introduced to overcome the limitation in designating the directional coupling with tailorable polarization-dependent feature and compatible ability to incidence of complex polarization distribution, which can even be designed to work for non-uniformly polarized incidence.
