Journal ArticleDOI

Catalytic properties of hierarchical mesoporous zeolites templated with a mixture of small organic ammonium salts and mesoscale cationic polymers.

TL;DR: Mesoporous zeolites from nanosized carbon templates have been successfully synthesized, but their industrial applications are still limited by the complexity of the synthetic procedure involved and the hydrophobicity of the carbon templates.
Journal ArticleDOI

pH-responsive carrier system based on carboxylic acid modified mesoporous silica and polyelectrolyte for drug delivery

TL;DR: In this article, an efficient pH-responsive carrier system has been constructed by oppositely charged ionic interaction between carboxylic acid modified SBA-15 silica rods and polyelectrolyte.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hierarchical mesoporous zeolites with controllable mesoporosity templated from cationic polymers

TL;DR: Hierarchical mesoporous Beta (H) and ZSM-5 (ZSM- 5-H) zeolites with various mesoporosities were synthesized in the presence of small organic cations of tetraethylammonium and tetrapropylamium, and mesoscale cationic polymers of polydiallyldimethylammium chloride and dimethyldiallyl ammonium chloride acrylamide copolymer, respectively as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetically Motive Porous Sphere Composite and Its Excellent Properties for the Removal of Pollutants in Water by Adsorption and Desorption Cycles

TL;DR: In this article, a unique, facile, and controllable route for the synthesis of magnetically motive porous sphere composites consisting of iron carbide, iron, and graphite is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Good sulfur tolerance of a mesoporous Beta zeolite-supported palladium catalyst in the deep hydrogenation of aromatics

TL;DR: In this paper, a Pd catalyst supported on mesoporous Beta zeolite (Beta-H) was evaluated for the hydrogenation of naphthalene and pyrene in the absence and presence of 200-ppm sulfur and for the hydrodesulfurization (HDS) of 4,6-dimethyldibenzothiophene.
