Journal ArticleDOI

One-pot degradation of cellulose into carbon dots and organic acids in its homogeneous aqueous solution

TL;DR: In this article, a panorama of the degradation routes of cellulose in its homogeneous aqueous solution with both organic molecules and CDs as products was presented, showing that the maximum yield of organic acids and CDs are 80.1% and 6.03%, respectively, and the highest QY of the CDs is 10.9%.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of achiral PEG‐PANI rod‐coil block copolymers and their helical superstructures

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a possible mechanism of the helical superstructures of the rod-coil copolymers and the driving force is believed to be the n-n stacking of the rigid segment of the copolymer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Genetic variants in telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) and telomerase-associated protein 1 (TEP1) and the risk of male infertility.

TL;DR: The results give the first evidence that genetic variations of TERT rs2736100 and TEP1 rs1713449 were associated with susceptibility to male infertility.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of polypeptide conjugated with near infrared fluorescence probe and doxorubicin for pH-responsive and image-guided drug delivery

TL;DR: P pH sensitive drug release nature of the near infrared fluorescent polymeric drug (NIRF prodrug) was confirmed and it was revealed that the released drug subsequently migrated to the nucleus, while the polymeric residue still remained in cytoplasm, indicating that the as-prepared polymer can be a promising candidate for theranosis of cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI

OGG1 Ser326Cys polymorphism interacts with cigarette smoking to increase oxidative DNA damage in human sperm and the risk of male infertility.

TL;DR: The results demonstrated that both cigarette smoking and OGG1 polymorphism can affect the sperm 8-OHdG levels, and provided the first evidence about potential interactive effects of OGG 1 polymorphism and cigarette smoking on male infertility risk.
