Discovery and Pre-Clinical Characterization of Third-Generation 4-H Heteroaryldihydropyrimidine (HAP) Analogues as Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) Capsid Inhibitors.
Zongxing Qiu,Xianfeng Lin,Weixing Zhang,Mingwei Zhou,Lei Guo,Buelent Kocer,Guolong Wu,Zhang Zhisen,Haixia Liu,Shi Houguang,Kou Buyu,Hu Taishan,Yimin Hu,Mengwei Huang,S. Frank Yan,Zhiheng Xu,Zheng Zhou,Ning Qin,Yue Fen Wang,Shuang Ren,Hongxia Qiu,Yuxia Zhang,Yi Zhang,Xiaoyue Wu,Kai Sun,Sheng Zhong,Jianxun Xie,Giorgio Ottaviani,Yuan Zhou,Lina Zhu,Xiaojun Tian,Liping Shi,Fang Shen,Yi Mao,Xue Zhou,Lu Gao,John A. T. Young,Jim Zhen Wu,Guang Yang,Alexander V. Mayweg,Hong C. Shen,Guozhi Tang,Zhu Wei +42 more
TL;DR: The discovery and structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies of the third-generation 4-H heteroaryldihydropyrimidines featuring the introduction of a C6 carboxyl group as novel HBV capsid inhibitors showed improved anti-HBV activity and better drug-like properties compared to the first- and second-generation4-H HAPs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Machine-learning based patient classification using Hepatitis B virus full-length genome quasispecies from Asian and European cohorts
Alan J. Mueller-Breckenridge,Fernando Garcia-Alcalde,Steffen Wildum,Saskia L. Smits,Robert A. de Man,Margo J. H. van Campenhout,Willem P. Brouwer,Jianjun Niu,John A. T. Young,Isabel Najera,Lina Zhu,Daitze Wu,Tomas Racek,Gadissa Bedada Hundie,Yong Lin,Charles A. Boucher,David A. M. C. van de Vijver,Bart L. Haagmans +17 more
TL;DR: The first comprehensive survey of the diversity of HBV quasispecies through ultra-deep sequencing of the complete HBV genome across two distinct European and Asian patient populations is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electroacupuncture Alleviates LPS-Induced ARDS Through α7 Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor-Mediated Inhibition of Ferroptosis
Yiguo Zhang,Li Zheng,Huimin Deng,Di Feng,Song Hu,Lina Zhu,Wenting Xu,Wenyu Zhou,Yu Wang,Keting Min,Qing Zhou,Yuanli Chen,Huanping Zhou,Hao Yang,Xin Lv +14 more
TL;DR: Electroacupuncture stimulation could alleviate LPS-induced ARDS by activating α7nAchR to inhibit L PS-induced ferroptosis in alveolar epithelial cells, and it was demonstrated that the pulmonary protective effects of EA stimulation were effectively reversed by erastin, a ferroPTosis activator.
Journal ArticleDOI
Association study between mannose-binding lectin haplotypes and X gene mutation of hepatitis B virus from treatment naïve patients
Chenghao Su,Yong Lin,Yong Lin,Qianguo Mao,Daitze Wu,Lina Zhu,Isabel Najera,Fernando Garcia-Alcalde,Jianjun Niu +8 more
TL;DR: The MBL2 profile may have an impact on the HBV X gene mutations as well as on viral quasispecies complexity, and it is found that the liver function was better among patients within the high M BL2 group with respect to those within the medium/low Mbl2 group.
Journal ArticleDOI
CNST is Characteristic of Leukemia Stem Cells and is Associated With Poor Prognosis in AML
Haoyu Liu,Xu Zhang,Ziyan Zhao,Hongying Zhu,Danyang Li,Yangyang Ou Yang,Wenbo Zhao,Fei Zhang,Yue Lynn Wang,Lina Zhu,Zewen Ding,Xiangzhi Li +11 more
TL;DR: This study suggests that CNST has the potential to be a diagnostic and prognostic biomarker for AML.
