Texture-dependent thermoelectric properties of nano-structured Bi2Te3

TL;DR: In this article, the texture-dependent thermoelectric properties of Bi2Te3 pellets were optimized by the proper texture design to simultaneously secure a high carrier mobility and strong phonon scattering, resulting in a peak ZT value of 0.69 at 333 K.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fabrication of stable high-performance urchin-like CeO2/ZnO@Au hierarchical heterojunction photocatalyst for water remediation.

TL;DR: The optimal photocatalyst (CZA8) degraded Rhodamine B (RhB), 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) and Naproxen (NPX) about 100% within 20 min, 91.4% within 60 min and 88.9% within 30 min under Xe lamp illumination, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and characterization of ternary Cu/Cu2O/C composite: an extraordinary adsorbent for removing anionic organic dyes from water

TL;DR: In this article, a ternary Cu/Cu2O/C composite with ultrahigh anionic dyes adsorption capacity was synthesized by a simple solvent-free method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Construction of Au modified direct Z-scheme g-C3N4/defective ZnO heterostructure with stable high-performance for tetracycline degradation

TL;DR: In this article, a Z-scheme g-C3N4/defective ZnO heterojunction embellished with Au nanoparticles was synthesized by three sequential procedures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fabrication and mechanism exploration of oxygen-incorporated 1T-MoS2 with high adsorption performance on methylene blue

TL;DR: In this paper, the 1T-MoS2, 1T/2H-MOS2 and 2H-moS2 were successfully prepared by controlling the temperature of hydrothermal process, which is confirmed by the characterization of XRD, Raman spectra, XPS and TEM.
